33.5 weeks...how did I get this far so fast! I feel like this summer has flown by and Fall is right around the corner. I had/have a few things that I would like to check off my "before baby Side gets here bucket list".
1. The first thing was checked off last weekend when I made the trip down to Magnet, IN for Tracy's Bachelorette Party. Yes, I said Magnet, IN...its about a 3 hour drive to Southern Indiana. We stayed in a cabin and it was a nice weekend with the girls. Bachelorette parties and pregnancy don't go very well together, but it was still fun to be the sober girl watching everyone else stumble around. I must admit though I was very happy in the morning when everyone else was hung over. I don't miss those days.
2. We leave September 1st for Scottsdale, AZ for a long weekend. Chad and I wanted to take a "babymoon", but it never seemed to work out so when this trip popped up I begged my doctor to give me permission to travel 34 weeks pregnant. I have an apt the day we are leaving so if for some reason Baby Side is anywhere is site there will be no babymoon for us. So far we are looking good!
3. Tracy's Shower in September. I am a little worried since Tracy & Jeremy are getting married a week before my due date so I hope to make it to all the pre-wedding festivities just in case I am in the hospital on October 1st.
4. Makenzie, Garrett, and Kenleigh's b-day party on September 24th. They are having a Disney theme bday party complete with a bounce castle.
5. Tracy and Jeremy's wedding October 1st. I told Tracy I would be there as long as I wasn't in labor :)
6. Xander's 1st b-day party on October 2nd. I am due on Xander's actual birthday which is the 9th, but my sister moved the party up a week in hopes I would be able to make it.
After these events are behind us I will be ready for the arrival of Baby Side. I am going to start doing everything in my power the evening of October 2nd to get this baby ready to go. I might even get a little crazy on the dance floor at Tracy and Jeremy's wedding to help jump start the labor :).
